Penfolds has launched a new range of wines in partnership with Human Made founder, NIGO, to celebrate the idea of “oneness”. One by Penfolds celebrates what makes us all different and unique, but also the things that bring us together. The collection comes from the three different regions where Penfolds wine is sourced around the world – USA, France and Australia – and these bottles each have their own distinctive animal motif on the label, so they are instantly recognisable. The personality of the wine is unmistakably Penfolds with each of them focusing on medium bodied, vibrant and aromatic characteristics.
This Cabernet Sauvignon, Marselan, Syrah, Merlot and Grenache blend is a deep ruby red, rich and highly aromatic wine that presents bright notes of oregano, coriander seeds, violets, lavender, mulberry leaf, black pepper and toasted sourdough. The dazzling palate offers spring blossom, jasmine tea leaves, strawberries, cranberries, pomegranate and cherry with underlying oak and hints of coffee and mocha. Rich, sweet and balanced, this generous and bold blend does not disappoint. Pair with braised oxtail, grilled aubergine and BBQ lamb kebabs for a sumptuous and sizzling meal.
