The Soave Classico is Pieropan’s crispest freshest wine made entirely from grapes harvested on their own vineyards within the historic heartland of the area. A handpicked blend of mainly Garganega with a splash of Trebbiano it’s aged briefly in glass-lined tanks on the spent yeast to add a little creaminess but without reducing its energetic brilliance. Expect crunchy pear crisp peach and Granny Smith apple then sophisticated notes of saffron marzipan and bouquet garni. It’s an incredible partner to almost anything green (think peas asparagus courgettes avocado rocket artichokes kale etc.) as well as canapés omelettes quiches fish and seafood.
