This Langhe DOC is Produttori del Barbaresco’s Nebbiolo for early drinking. An exquisite drop, it positively bounces with plums, strawberries, red cherries, dried herbs, white pepper, sweet spices and star anise. Serve it alongside practically anything from pizza and pasta to comfort foods like cottage pie, sausage and mash, lasagne, or maybe even tuna steaks, roasted aubergine or spicy tagines.
In the words of Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, Produttori del Barbaresco “has been making terrific wines for five decades.” All of the leading critics agree; Jancis Robinson believes that they “helped to establish Barbaresco as a top-quality wine”, James Suckling places them at “the top of the pack”, and Antonio Galloni considers their wines “reference-points”.
