The Collector Reserva is a blend of younger and older wines to create a perfect Ruby Port with an average age of 5 years. Rich with silky black fruit dried plum dense fig raspberry jam and cherry confit; it’s heaven on Earth with a large wedge of Stilton.
Ramos Pinto is a name to be reckoned with. Firstly they are owned by the Rouzauds – one of the wine world’s most powerful and discerning families who also look after Champagne Louis Roederer Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande Domaines Ott Maison Delas and Champagne Deutz. Secondly they were founded back in 1880 and played a leading role in defining the best grape varieties for the whole Douro Valley.
