Cocktail of the Month this May is… (drum roll please)
The Speyside Spritz
Made using The Singleton of Glendullan 12yr, a whisky known for its versatility and smooth mellow flavour this is a single malt on the lighter end of the “spectrum”. This particular whisky lends itself well to being used in cocktails as well as straight-up or on the rocks so the team had a lot of fun playing around with different combinations when developing this recipe.
The Speyside Spritz mixes Singleton 12yr with a dash of Belsazar Rose Vermouth over ice, topped with a beautifully crisp grape and apricot soda, and garnished with a ribbon of cucumber.
The perfect drink for a warm sunset and well suited for a wide range of enthusiasts from the seasoned whisky drinker who fancies a refreshing cocktail to the spritz lovers who want to try something new and exciting.
