Set on a firm, stable platform, the Salomon XT-6 gives you a mesh trainer with rubberised printed caging that cradles your foot. A toggle-fastening lace-up front cinches with one hand, and you'll find a notched, padded ankle at the back. A sculpted rubber midsole with gel inserts sits over a gripped rubber sole that bites on varied surfaces.
