It’s made in Gloucestershire by fruit farmers turned liqueur specialists Bramley & Gage using a 200-litre copper pot still called Kathleen. This expensive piece of kit contains a unique double sphere condenser which creates more copper contact resulting in a sleek and silky finish.

First up in the blue bottle is their classic small batch gin made with just six botanicals beyond the mandatory juniper; orris root angelica winter savoury orange peel coriander seed and elderflower. In the red bottle is 6 O’Clock Sloe Gin crafted using handpicked wild hedgerow sloes that are patiently steeped in gin with a little sugar for at least six months. The high sloe to gin ratio is what really make this stand out from the crowd.
