Beauty lover, lifestyle influencer and self-confessed “crazy cat lady”, Emilie Tømmerberg has her sights set on a Sardinian summer – we got the lowdown on everything from her Mediterranean must-haves to living her dream life as a creator.
Talk us through your Sardinian summer style…
I think it’s a more playful version of my personal style. I love mixing glamour with beachy, laid-back vibes. I wear a lot of neutrals; white, black and earthy colours, mixed with gold and glitter. I’m working on adding more colour, so I might have a pop of red or blue in there too.
What’s your summer scent on vacation?
I am obsessed with the Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Eau de Parfum. It has a sensual and exclusive coconut scent and it’s perfect for summer.
What’s in your beach bag?
SPF, water, a small hairbrush, book, hat, face mist, snacks, single-use camera, sunglasses, lip balm and a small makeup bag with all the essentials.
What are your top three beauty tips for summer?
Don’t get a natural tan, protect your skin with SPF and use a self-tanner. Hydrate enough and eat lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. Summer salads are the best. Get a multi-use product like the Armani Fluid Sheer Glow Enhancer in 11 – it works as a bronzer, blush and highlighter.

SPF, every day.
How do you curate your summer skincare routine?
I like to keep it simple, it’s all about hydration and protection during the summer. I’ll save my retinol and stronger exfoliators for the rest of the year.
What is your favourite holiday memory?
Me and my boyfriend drove through the north-west coast of Italy, staying two nights in each place. We eventually ended up at a wedding in Tuscany. I loved every moment and got to see some amazing places.

Music is such a big part of my life and it changes according to my mood. The xx is always amazing and the perfect vibe for summer. Also, some Harry Styles.
What is the best thing about being a creator?
To have the privilege of travelling to so many amazing places and meeting wonderful people along the way.
