Storywood Speyside 7 begins life as a 10-year-old mature 100% blue weber agave, harvested from the lowland region of Jalisco and married together with the natural spring water from the Volcan de Tequila. The tequila is then aged for seven months in casks previously containing Speyside single malt whisky giving the spirit honeyed, vanilla notes alongside subtle oak, gentle fruit and citrus all held together with the earthy lowland agave base. Crafted as a slow sipping spirit, you’ll want to take a seat and put your feet up to truly savour this liquid.
Born from the idea of two countries coming together as one with passion, creativity and a willingness to experiment, we see the creation of a new genre of spirits. With this Tequila Reposado scoring 94 points and gold medal from the Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2020, we look forward to seeing what other exciting products Storywood releases in the future.
