This small batch special blend of Ruby Port is the highly anticipated follow up and partner to Graham’s much-loved Blend No.5 White Port. Like its predecessor Blend No.12 Ruby Port was created specifically with bartenders and the cocktail scene in mind. However we’ve managed to get our hands on some and want to share the love and allow you to taste it in your own home…
Challenging the ideas of what a Ruby Port should be this is modern and made for mixing but it still has all the quality you’d expect from a company with 200 years of history experience and innovation. Graham’s set out to create a fresher style of Ruby Port by venturing as high as they possibly could into the Douro Valley to find the coolest climate plots of Touriga Nacional. Picking the grapes at night to retain all those lovely aromatics and that wonderful freshness Blend No.12 is light crisp and refreshing with just a touch of sweetness. Imagine it as Port’s answer to pink gin packed with berry sorbet flavours and aromas that hint at plum leather and pine honey.
Its signature serve – called a Midnight Spritz – is to pour 40ml of Blend No.12 Ruby Port over ice and top with 60ml of dry sparkling wine then garnish with a slice of orange and fresh strawberry. But we also love to make a pink twist on the classic Portuguese aperitif of Port & Tonic with it. The great thing about this Ruby Port is that it comes in at around half the alcohol content of its gin which means you can enjoy twice as many of these little beauties as you bask in the sunshine. - 25ml Graham’s Blend No.12 Ruby Port
- 50ml Silver Tequila
- 25ml Lime juice
- 15ml Orange juice
- A bar spoon of agave syrup
Method: shake all ingredients with ice and strain over crushed ice.

- 25ml London dry gin
- 20ml Lemon juice
- 15ml Cinnamon simple syrup
- A bar spoon of cranberry jam or sauce
