With a silver medal from the WineGB Awards in 2023, the 2022 vintage of Fifty Summers Rosé from the Wiston Estate is founder Pip Goring’s vision, dreamt up fifty years ago, celebrating her perseverance, patience, love of life and bringing people together.
The rosé is made using a blend of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir, selected from vines at Wiston and their partner grower in Kent. It bursts with fresh juicy cherries and summer red currants alongside delicate hints of peach blossom and white pepper. With a backbone of minerality and a touch of saline character balancing out the fruitfulness, this unique expression is the perfect accompaniment to summer barbecues with shellfish, white meats, goat’s cheese and summer salads, as much as being the perfect partner to a warm, sun-soaked outdoor terrace.
Wiston Estate is a renowned English sparkling wine producer, situated in the South Downs, with a heritage dating back to 1743.
