Considered by many to be the original super-premium vodka, Belvedere is made at the Polmos Zyrardów distillery, which was constructed in 1910. They only use superior grade Polish Dańkowskie rye and water from their own source; there’s no further additions whatsoever. Despite this purity, the resulting vodka is rich and complex, displaying the subtle sweetness of vanilla, a creamy texture and a frisson of pepper, spice and toasted nuts. It’s unsurprising that the International Spirits Challenge crowned Belvedere “Vodka Producer of the Year” in 2015, 2016 and 2017. It can be mixed into any vodka-based cocktail, but in our opinion it’s best sipped neat or mixed into a classic Martini.
