Although most of Bodegas Arzuaga’s wines are red, this lovely Chardonnay still bears the hallmarks of a Arzuaga wine. The name comes from the initials of Familia Arzuaga Navarro: F.A.N. And the ‘D. Oro’ comes from its golden colour, reminiscent of the precious metal called ‘oro’ in Spanish.
The La Planta estate is 900 metres above sea level and boasts 4.5 hectares of Chardonnay grapes which go into this fine and elegant wine. And the addition of integrated oak makes this a seductive proposition. The palate has silkiness and structure and is great for pairing with white meat, fish in powerful sauces, rice dishes and pasta.
