96 points “Bollinger's 2015 Brut Grand Année is an intriguing wine in that is clearly reflects the decision to pick on the later side in order to avoid vegetal notes derived from the mismatch of alcoholic and phenolic ripeness.... Dried citrus peel, sage, menthol, sage, tangerine peel and spice build with some coaxing. Light tropical overtones develop with aeration. There's real density and textural richness here. This will be a fascinating vintage to follow. Stylistically, it is the complete opposite from the much more linear 2014 that precedes it. Dosage is 8 grams per liter. Disgorged: May 2023. Drink 2028 – 2040.” - Vinous.com

93-95 points “The colour is already deep golden with a fine stream of tiny bubbles fighting their way up through the glycerol-rich concentrated wine. Intense and rich and at the same time nuanced and complex. The small, concentrated grapes ultimately produced an ultimate gastronomic masterpiece.” - Richard Juhlin, The Champagne Club

Bollinger's 2015 Grand Année is a unique expression with a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay hailing from 11 Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites. Fresh, rich and open in style, the 2015 blend is classic Champagne Bollinger. With a late harvest to ensure the optimal ripeness of vines, this Champagne sings with elegance, fruit and complex texture and is one that can be described as a “true classic”.

Deep yellow and gold reflections combine with exceptional aromatic intensity and initial scents of stone fruits, honey, red fruits and almond can be found alongside exotic touches of mango, vanilla and delicate wood nuances. Subtle smoke, rich caramel and nut highlight Bollinger’s distinctive oak barrel fermentation and with the enticing and generous palate, the texture and richness define the tasting experience.

The exquisitely harmonious cuvee is a delight and whether you choose to enjoy La Grande Année 2015 straight away or decide to age further in the cellar, the unique style and aromas will always work captivatingly well alongside meat dishes, mushrooms, nuts, red berries and citrus. It is a wine full of sunshine and one you will not regret bringing out for a special occasion.

Champagne Bollinger was founded in 1829 by Jacques Bollinger and soon earned a reputation for quality. Under subsequent generations its reputation has gone from strength to strength and today it’s one of the most prestigious of all Champagne brands. Stylistically Bollinger is renowned for its rich and savoury style.
