Premier Cru – meaning ‘best growth’ and inspired by fine wine – is an exquisite gin crafted by Master Distiller Dr. Anne Brock using the finest Murcian lemons mandarins and sweet Navel oranges harvested late in the 2021 season when the fruit is at its most aromatic. Bombay Sapphire worked closely with local suppliers and farmers to source the finest and most sustainably produced fruit that southeast Spain has to offer. This fruit was handpicked at optimum ripeness peeled by hand and then allowed to dry naturally beneath the Mediterranean sun. This expression beautifully balances the sweet citrus oils of orange and mandarin with the vibrancy and tang of Spanish Fino Lemons the latter having been the signature of the Bombay Sapphire style from time immemorial. What we love most about it is that the vapour infusion seems to have captured the Spanish summer sunshine – something that we’ve all been craving!
