Although slightly overshadowed by all kinds of other shenanigans that occurred that year, one of the most exciting things to happen in 2020 was the Italian government signing of Prosecco Rosé. We’re still celebrating that landmark moment in wine’s long and illustrious history. And one our favourite ways to do that, is with Bottega’s pink Prosecco, now twice the fun in this exquisite magnum.
Bottega harvest Glera and Pinot Noir grapes grown in Veneto and Friuli, then craft them with immense skill the traditional way into this exquisite Prosecco Rosé. Crisp, dry and almost Provence-like in colour, it’s bursting with delectable red fruit flavours, particularly redcurrants, cranberries, raspberries and strawberry sorbet. The release of Prosecco Rosé like this has us thoroughly tickled pink.
Mighty oaks from little acorns grow. In 1653, Andrea Bottega tended his first vines near the picturesque Molinetto della Croda in Refrontolo, Veneto. This farmer’s dream blossomed into one of Italy’s most recognisable brands, producing a dizzying array of glamorous Prosecco, Moscato, Grappa, liqueurs and spirits. Today, with hundreds of awards under its belt, the Bottega name is known and loved in 132 countries around the globe.
