Château Brane-Cantenac is one of Margaux’s greats. Winemaker Henri Lurton – whose family is winemaking royalty in Bordeaux. The château has its own weather station, they study satellite images of the vineyards, one-third of the vines are farmed organically and the others are moving that way; this is a real labour of love and attention to detail.
The Second Growth Château Brane-Cantenac has really ramped up its game under Henri Lurton and has now become the winery that other winemakers in the region whisper about.
