Famed for his ability to select the finest fruit the bespectacled Bruno Giacosa was a sad loss to the fine wine world when he passed away in January 2018 making wines like this even more sought-after. Bottled from the estate’s vineyards Vigna Le Rocche is now looked after by Bruno’s daughter Bruna and the wine continues its incredible run of form.
The Falletto vineyard is iconic in Langhe. This natural amphitheatre protects the low-yielding vines creating an optimum microclimate. The 2015 Barolo Falletto Vigna Le Rocche is a profound Nebbiolo full of depth warmth and aromatics.
