ves d’Esclans, the estate that gave the world Whispering Angel and the cult-favourite Garrus, comes Rock Angel, a rosé that strikes the perfect balance between the two.

Crafted under the guidance of Bertrand Léon, son of famed winemaker Patrick Léon of Château Mouton Rothschild, Rock Angel is made from old-vine Grenache and Rolle, grown in La Motte en Provence. The wine is partially fermented in stainless steel for purity and freshness, and oak barrels for depth and texture, bringing added weight, structure, and refinement.

On the nose and palate, Rock Angel delivers tangy redcurrant, wild strawberry, lemon cream, and toasted almonds, with a refreshing lift of pink grapefruit and a subtle hint of black pepper. . The additional weight and elegance makes this a fabulous food wine, so drink it as an aperitif with nibbles, or alongside seafood, grilled artichokes, poached salmon or barbeques.

The estate itself, Château d’Esclans, is steeped in history, dating back to the 12th century. Its transformation in 2006 by Sacha Lichine of Bordeaux lineage revolutionised rosé as we know it, redefining it as a serious, premium wine category.
