Dalmore Luminary Series is a collection of rare and collectable limited-edition single malt whiskies presented by leading figures from the worlds of whisky and architectural design.
This is the 3rd edition in the series and is part of a global release of 20,000 bottles.
This is an incredibly complex whisky, initially matured in ex-Bourbon barrels before being finished in a combination of different casks, including vintage calvados, rare sherry casks and red wine barriques. This combination means that the whisky opens with an orchard character, with vanilla and cinnamon, with a hint of rose. On the palate, it has rich butterscotch, red apple, dark cacao, red liquorice as well as cinnamon, orange peel and green tea.
