92 points, “Beautifully layered aromas of smoked green apple, acacia and plenty of citrus elements give way to equally good volume and even more minerality on the impressively long and unusually powerful flavours that possess outstanding depth and persistence for a villages-level wine. This is built on its minerality though ultimately, it’s the intricate and finely wrought balance that makes this such a standout. If you can find it, don't hesitate.” – Allen Meadows, Burghound

Joseph Colin’s Le Trézin comes from old vines in the highest altitude vineyard in Puligny-Montrachet. This cold and windy site produces beautifully fresh and aromatic wines. We love the lingering notes of lemon bon bon, saline sea breeze and delicate spice.

Saint Aubin used to be off the beaten track, but now it’s fast-becoming hot property in Burgundy. Here you’ll find Joseph Colin, son of Marc Colin who was one of the early pioneers in this area. In 2016 Joseph left the family business to branch out on his own, taking with him some plots in incredible locations including Chassagne-Montrachet. 2017 was his first full vintage and with a wealth of experience and confidence, he looks like one of Burgundy’s bright young sparks to watch. But don’t just take our word for it, Wine Advocates “encourage readers to acquaint themselves with his wines” too.
