William Fèvre is one of Chablis’ great domaines setting the benchmark for the entire region. William Fèvre’s family has played a prominent role in this part of the world for 250 years and he built the domaine up from practically nothing between 1957 and 1998 when he eventually sold it to Champagne Henriot. It’s now one of the biggest landowners in the area and no other producer can claim a wider array of plots in Chablis’s finest vineyards. The wines are now made by the exceedingly talented Didier Séguier who moved here from Bouchard in Beaune and was named “White Winemaker of the Year 2018” by the International Wine Challenge just before he began work on these vintages. This exceptional winemaker coupled with the unparalleled access to the finest terroir that this historic domaine has makes this a wonderful opportunity for any Chablis connoisseur.
