Created in collaboration with the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh using botanicals freshly picked from their extensive collection. Edinburgh Gin were inspired by Robert Sibbald and Andrew Balfour who founded the 1670 Physic Garden growing plants for medicinal remedies. We can’t promise that the limited edition 1670 Gin will cure ailments but its heady blend of fennel sweet cicely Piper leaf and Tasmannia lanceolata delivers optimum refreshment. You’ll find spicy and peppery notes leafy basil and a cooling mint finish. Combine with a premium tonic a slice of lemon and some smacked basil leaves alternatively use as a herbaceous base to cocktails.
