Affectionately known as RB|32 Brut, this blend contains Exton Park’s oldest reserve wines. Even though this is a multi-vintage blend, it’s matured on the lees for three years, which is as long as required by law for making Vintage Champagne. Skilfully elaborated using 32 wines from their extensive library of reserves, it’s a beautiful and harmonious piece of winemaking. Golden and generous, RB|32’s fine bubbles deliver bright notes of tangy lemon, passionfruit, honey, cream and a tickle of white pepper. This food-friendly fizz will partner anything from nibbles like smoked salmon blinis to a slice of Victoria sponge for afternoon tea.

Their fruit comes from nine plots in one vineyard on chalky South Downs hills. The company is run by Robin McMillan, a gentleman who previously headed up Decanter, The Wine Society and Berry Bros & Rudd, so clearly knows his onions. The wines are made under the watchful eye of Corinne Seely, who has worked in Australia, Languedoc, the Douro Valley and at the prestigious Domaine de Chevalier in Pessac-Léognan, Bordeaux. This experienced team was also one of the founding members of WineGB’s Sustainable Wines of Great Britain accreditation. This means that they take the most natural approach possible when growing their fruit, support biodiversity and reduce their carbon footprint using solar power.
