The Cognacs produced by Frapin are made exclusively using grapes from their 315 hectare domaine located in Grande Champagne an area renowned for producing the finest and aromatic cognacs. This fine old cognac is blended from the family’s reserves and then matured in oak casks on the domaine. The age of this cognac is between 40 and 50 years old and it comes beautifully presented in a mini decanter (with a 24 carat gilt stopper) and fetching gift box. Sweet complex and subtle on the nose with aromas of figs oranges vanilla aromatic cedar wood with hints of cigar box. The palate is smooth and opulent with rounded dried fruit almonds and caramelised orange flavours. A great gift idea that proves size isn’t everything.
