It was crafted using a proportion of their precious chocolate malt spirit (made just once a year) and components from some of the distillery’s oldest and rarest reserves which are between 35 and 40 years old. Signet was matured in a combination of Bourbon casks for creaminess Sherry barrels for sweetness and virgin charred American oak for spice creating an explosion of flavour. But amidst all that tradition they’ve never stopped innovating and only Prohibition and World War II have briefly stopped their remarkably tall whisky stills from running.
