The vineyards nestle high above sea level where the vines benefit from the fresh sea breeze cooler ripening conditions and volcanic soils that are rich in minerals.
The distinctive terroir of the Etna region is key in creating the unmistakable and individual character of this red wine combining intense minerality and ripe gentle tannins. Following vinification the wine is matured in stainless steel tanks for 18 months to create a complex and vibrant medium bodied red.
