The image on the front label is of the Andean Condor a national symbol of Argentina which is native to the mountains that cloak the Valle de Uco where this Harvey Nichols wine is produced. Using select parcels of Malbec the grapes are hand harvested from ten to twenty year old vines situated at a cool climate elevation of 1 100m.
The resulting wine is aged for three months in new French oak prior to being bottled unfiltered. Intense ruby in colour this wine offers pronounced aromas of violets red cherry and vanilla. Soft and juicy on the palate with flavours of ripe berries cocoa and mixed spice it is finely balanced and culminates in a long rounded finish. A stunning example of Argentina's flagship grape this is perfect with local empañada red meat dishes and cheeses.
