This nutty figgy toffee-like Madeira is one of the finest on the market. Amber-coloured with bright flashes of gold and green it erupts from the glass with intense aromas of dried fruits revealing its lengthy aging. With a medium sweet taste and rich roasted nut flavours this full-bodied and complex wine is simply sensational. Persistent and fresh on the finish this would make an excellent accompaniment to rich caramelised desserts chocolate festive fare pâté or a cheeseboard.
Founded in 1850 by João Gonçalves Henriques his two sons took over in 1912 and this world-famous Madeira house became Henriques & Henriques as we know it today.
