The Henschke winery is based in Keyneton named after the pioneering pastoralist Joseph Keynes. This village became a hub for music and culture becoming home to the Henschke Family Brass Band which was founded in 1888. The band featured many instruments including the cornet and the clarinet amongst others but the family’s favourite was the B flat euphonium hence the name of this wine. Like its namesake this wine shines reverberates and is laced with history.
The Henschke family have been making wine in Australia’s Eden Valley since 1868. From the biodynamically farmed Hill of Grace and Mount Edelstone vineyards Stephen and Prue Henschke create two of Australia’s most sought-after wines.
