I couldn’t help but wonder if this is the Cosmopolitan of Provence rosé…
This stylish Rosé 2019 was created over an afternoon’s tasting between Invivo’s winemakers and the actor Sarah Jessica Parker. And it really impressed the highly respected New Zealand wine critic Sam Kim who awarded it 94 points and said: “This is instantly appealing on the nose showing grapefruit crunchy apple and nectarine characters with a hint of sweet raspberry. The palate delivers terrific fruit intensity and vibrancy combined with fine texture and bright acidity finishing delightfully long and refreshing.”
Invivo X SJP Rosé was crafted by a family-owned estate in Provence that is run almost entirely on solar power. Vins Chevron Villette use grapes from Saint Tropez (adding a dash of Riviera style) Puget-Ville and Les Arcs to the northwest (imparting texture and minerality) and finally from the rolling hills of Le Thoronet (bringing pure power). Seriously elegant and frivolously fun this is Provence at its finest – bursting with bright summer berry sorbet rose petals zingy pink grapefruit and crisp red apple – all you need to do is add sunshine and friends. Sarah Jessica painted the ‘X’ featured on the label herself and the letter and comma are a reference to her signature email and Instagram post signoff: “X SJ.” Fashionistas may also be interested to know that the grey paint – a colour called “Pewter Stardust” – has been used in several of the strappy shoes in the SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker collection. So pop your designer high heels off and settle in for an episode of Rosé and the City.

Invivo X SJP also gives back because they have recently embarked on a partnership with FEED Projects a charity that works to combat child hunger by donating school meals in 63 countries worldwide. It looks good it tastes good and it does good; you can’t ask for much more than that.
