Inspired by Alexander Walker’s 1867 Old Highland Whisky it has become one of the most iconic spirits in the world. Pouring a generous measure into one of these elegant tumblers we discovered cigar smoke rose-scented baklava vanilla pods runny honey pencil shavings apple pie praline marmalade milk chocolate caramels banoffee dry Christmas spices and a raisiny quality reminiscent of Madeira. It’s impossible to disagree with Whisky Advocate’s assessment it really is close to perfection.
