It then rests in the Grand Vintage Reserve cellars for seven years to develop the patina of time. This 2016 Brut issue - the 77th Vintage in the history of the Maison - unveils a vegetal bouquet with breadcrumbs and fresh brioche that give way to elderflower and jasmine before unfurling into notes of white peach and watermelon. It has a ripe, tender and enveloping palate.
