The legendary Old Fitzgerald 10 year Bottled-in-Bond is available in incredibly small quantities this year.
Named after John E. Fitzgerald, the treasury agent who held the keys to the bonded warehouses and was known to help himself only to the barrels containing the finest whiskies, leading to these barrels getting referred to as 'Fitzgerald barrels'.
This is the 11th edition of the Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond series and contains a 10-year Bourbon that follows the strict criteria to be able to hold that title. As is needed for these strict laws, the bottle features a tax strip listing that it is whisky barrelled in the Spring of 2013 and bottled in the Spring of 2023.
