Forty-Five Radiant Rose Vermouth is crafted by our friends at The Spirit of Manchester Distillery. Brimming with bittersweet flavours like rhubarb, rosehip, rose petal, raspberry, tonka bean and orange, which create a British summer vibe. Whip up a Sloegroni (gin, sloe gin, Campari and vermouth), serve up a spritz, use it to add a pink hue to classic cocktails, or simply mix a V&T (a vermouth and tonic). Garnished with a sprig of mint, it makes a fruity, refreshing and lower-alcohol alternative to a G&T.
Jen and Seb crafted their first 25,000 bottles of spirit in their dining room, and it won a Gold Medal at The Spirits Business Gin Masters in the micro-distillery category. Today, Spirit of Manchester is a state-of-the-art distillery capable of producing more than one million bottles a year and picking up nearly as many Gold Medals. Harvey Nichols and The Spirit of Manchester Distillery have had a strong partnership since the very beginning, as we were the first major retailer in the country to stock Manchester Gin when it launched way back in 2016. As well as a stunning range of gins, they also create Manchester Spirit Vodka, using cold vacuum distillation to capture the brightest and crispest flavours, and Forty-Five English Vermouth for all your cocktail needs.
Embracing the increasing global commitment to become Net Zero by 2050 and Manchester’s mission to become a carbon-neutral city by 2038, The Spirit of Manchester Distillery is working towards Net Zero by 2030. With a long-term vision to be more transparent and sustainable, they’re looking at their bottling and packaging materials, and in some cases even adding QR codes so that consumers can track the carbon footprint of individual bottles. They’ve sent nothing to landfill since 2019, their energy is 100% renewable, and they make charitable donations to support their community. This is the kind of eco-friendly spirit the world needs.
