This multi-column still rum was produced at an undisclosed distillery in Barbados. The secret is probably revealed by the picture of the team from That Boutique-y Rum Company on the label. It depicts them heading back towards the airport in high spirits driving away from Mount Gilboa and the parish of St Lucy with a barrel of rum. Distilled in July 2000 and matured in Barbados for six years it was then transferred to the UK for the balance of its maturation before being bottled as a 21 Year Old. It’s rare to see a rum of this age from this ‘secret’ distillery (the oldest rum in their core range is made from a blend of 5-17 year old components) so this is sure to be snapped up by intrigued collectors and serious enthusiasts.
