Produced at Suntory’s historic distillery Yamazaki is a flagship Japanese single malt whisky which is renowned for its multi-layered flavour with fruit and Mizunara oak aroma. The inspiration for this innovative new release comes from its team of blenders under the direction of master distiller Shingo Torii himself and from a “young talent” whisky that is finished in French oak wine casks from Bordeaux. Bearing no age statement and bottled at 43% ABV this is a smooth and highly sippable whisky that shows sweet strawberry notes dried fruit flavours and aspects of vanilla and sweet cinnamon. Round and warm in the mouth and long on the finish the exciting new whisky can be enjoyed neat on the rocks or as a Highball for the ultimate Japanese whisky experience.
