Created by taking The Lakes Distillery’s phenomenal The One – a blend of their very own Single Malt and carefully selected grain and malt whiskies from Speyside and Islay – and finishing it for one year in first-fill Tawny Port hogshead casks each one lovingly handpicked by their incredibly talented whisky maker Dhavall Gandhi. The One was already a one-of-a-kind being a unique blend of exceptional whiskies from the British Isles but this takes it to a whole new level. The Tawny Port influence adds cherry plum sultana and apricot jam to the unfathomably smooth marzipan sesame oil smouldering log fires and festive spices of the base whisky.
