The Macallan M is back. These limited releases showcase their unique whisky’s natural colour to jaw-dropping effect. Hugely sought-after (especially after a few years off our shelves), the range is a collaboration between three masters: French designer Fabien Baron (think Andy Warhol’s Interview Magazine, Italian Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Calvin Klein, Madonna’s Sex book and so much more), crystal maestros Lalique and of course the biggest name in whisky, The Macallan.
The 2022 Release is drawn from some of Macallan’s oldest and rarest casks, some of which were distilled in the 1940s. The dazzling six-faceted design pays homage to Macallan’s six pillars: their spiritual home, their unusually small stills, the finest cut used, the quality of their oak casks, their dedication to natural colour and the resulting peerless spirit. Dried fruits such as raisins, sultanas, mixed peel and apricots, combine with Black Forest gateau, crème brûlée, marmalade, Christmas spices, apple sauce, leather, Early Grey tea leaves and polished antique wood. Rich and decadent, M is a jewel in the crown of any Scotch collection.
