The third limited annual release in Macallan’s Harmony Collection, Amber Meadow, has been created in collaboration with Mary and Stella McCartney to celebrate the lush and fertile lands of Scotland. This release embraces the re-use of natural materials in its packaging, creating beauty from resources at the end of their natural lives, so here we see discarded meadow cuttings given a new life in this presentation box and bottle labels. Each individual presentation box features photography by Mary McCartney of the Macallan Estate.
With maturation occurring in both sherry seasoned oak and bourbon casks, this single malt Scotch whisky imparts aromas of rich zesty citrus, honeysuckle, vanilla, coconut and ripe barley fields with the palate featuring melon, oak, just baked scones, almond and green tea before pulling together to give a rich sweet finish.
