The Ordinary’s Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner gently exfoliates for smoother, more hydrated and radiant skin. Through this gentle exfoliation, it helps to reduce textural irregularities and smooth skin texture, and helps to reduce the look of dark spots, resulting in brighter, more radiant skin. Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner has a lightweight texture, and is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
This formulation’s key ingredient is a 30% concentration of saccharomyces ferment - a yeast ferment technology with 3% fermented N-acetylglucosamine (NAG):
Fermented N-acetylglucosamine (NAG): A gentler alternative to traditional exfoliants. This non-acidic molecule is derived from yeast fermentation.
30% Saccharomyces Ferment: Featured in a high concentration, this ingredient provides 3% N-acetylglucosamine (NAG)—a very gentle active which encourages surface exfoliation to help smooth uneven skin texture. NAG is a naturally occurring amino sugar that can be obtained through biotechnology. The NAG in our formulation is combined with a yeast broth mixture, and undergoes saccharomyces (yeast) fermentation. NAG also targets dullness to help promote a radiant appearance.
