One of Britain’s most popular and loved beers. Timothy Taylor’s Landlord is a multi-award-winning ale made at the Knowle Spring Brewery in Keighley West Yorkshire. Having won both CAMRA’s Champion Beer of Britain and the Brewing Industry Challenge Cup four times this is an absolute classic. The original recipe was created in 1952 by the brewery chairman at the time Philip Taylor and some of his senior brewhouse staff with the end goal of creating a new premium beer. The result is a rich and full-bodied English ale with complex hoppy and malty aromas. Landlord has achieved a cult like status in the beer community and it's easy to see why when you open one up and enjoy it for yourself.
The beer can be enjoyed at any time of the week but does work particularly well with a Sunday Roast or a pie filled with meat or vegetables in red wine gravy.
