93 points “Blackberries liquorice and melted asphalt stand out in this full-bodied beautifully made Vintage Port’s moderately intense bouquet.” – Wine Advocate
For those who prefer their Port in a big gutsy and drier style we highly recommend the Graham’s 1997. It’s a towering wall of a Port seemingly built out of figs blackberries blackcurrants plums chocolate-covered toffee roasted peanuts freshly laid tarmac liquorice mint prunes and spiced black tea. Now entering its drinking window this will be a sensational addition to any cheeseboard after decanting.
Established in 1820 Graham’s is one of the most famous names in the Port trade and has long been synonymous with the greatest vintage Ports. The Symington family acquired the company from the Graham family in 1970 so today Graham's remains a wholly family-owned firm.
