Writers’ Tears Red Head is a triple-distilled single malt that has been matured in Sherry butts seasoned with the finest Oloroso. That Sherry influence is what gives the whiskey the ruby-red hue that inspired its name but also all the wonderful praline nuttiness marmalade spiced Christmas cake fruit chocolate-covered raisins creamy marzipan and lingering oak you’ll taste when you sip it.
