“La Grande Dame 2015 Rosé is the essence of Madame Clicquot: the perfect expression of her force of character, her energy, her creativity and above all, her love of Pinot Noir.” - Didier Mariotti, Cellars Master

Veuve Clicquot has unveiled the limited-edition La Grande Dame Rosé 2015 in collaboration with Portuguese artist Henriette Arcelin. An exceptional tribute to Madame Clicquot’s pioneering spirit, the Pinot Noir dominated blend (90% Pinot to 10% Chardonnay) with grapes from eight Grand Crus, reveals a sun-filled expression with precision, depth and character.

Delicate aromas of red fruit and floral notes of rose and violet sit harmoniously next to pepper, nutmeg and clove, intertwined majestically and elegantly in this bright and flavourful Champagne. Already matured for seven years, this wine holds the potential to develop and refine further if cellared for another decade or more. A mesmerising and celebratory Champagne, this 2015 vintage should be brought out on any joyful occasion.

The history of this famous Champagne house dates back to 1772 when Philippe Clicquot founded a wine-making business under the name Clicquot. In 1810, this was renamed Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin after the young widow Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin inherited the estate. Ever in pursuit of excellence and innovation, Madame Clicquot used her skills to develop an exceptional wine-growing territory and went on to establish what is today one of the most iconic names in Champagne.
